Allyn Jaffrey Shulman entered heads-up play with a more than 3:1 chip lead over Dennis Phillips, but Phillips managed to chip back in Level 33 and take the lead for himself. Phillips doubled through Shulman in a huge pot that turned the tables and put Phillips in the lead with more than 10 million to Shulman’s 3.5 million. Phillips got it all in before the flop with 9Heart Suit9Diamond Suit against Shulman’s JHeart Suit10Club Suit. The board came QClub Suit4Heart Suit4Diamond Suit7Heart Suit5Spade Suit, offering no help to Shulman as Phillips doubled up to take the chip lead.

Shulman quickly answered back with a double up of her own, narrowing the gap to about 7.6 million to 4.8 million after the hand. Shulman got it all in good before the flop with QHeart SuitQClub Suit against Phillips’ KSpade Suit6Heart Suit.
