Updates on Day 1 (Oct 22, 07)

Theo Tran Doubles

Tran moves all in with A4 and is called by Jordan Morgan with K3. The board comes Q557J, Tran's hand folds and he doubles.

Blinds Raised

The blinds are now $1,500-$3,000 with a $300 ante.

Alex Jacob Eliminated

Jacob moves all in with A5, but runs into  Luke Desantos with AA. The board runs 8627J, and Jacob is eliminated in ninth place.

Sick Beats a Plenty

David Ramirez gets all in with 55, against Alex Jacob's JJ. The first four cards come K86K, and Jacob has a commanding lead. Team San Francisco is full of bad beats however, because the river brings the 5, spiking Ramirez's two outer and sending him the pot. Jacob is now a short stack at the table.

Lotta Action

TMay Takes a Sick Beat

He is now the short stack at his table, which features West and Theo Tran from team LA, verses Desantos and David Ramirez from team San Francisco.

Voted off the Table

Jean-Robert Bellande moves all in for his last 2,700 on a board of KK7 and is called by Will Lin with QQ. Bellande looks disguested as he tables 55, and he next two cards come 36. Bellande is sent to the rail early in the fourth round.

Max Pescatori Eliminated

William Lin moves all in with K3, and is called by Max Pescatori with AK. The board comes J76Q, and Pescatori only needs to dodge a three or a heart. The river is the 3, and Pescatori is crippled.

He gets all in shortly thereafter with K3, against A9. He fails to improve and is eliminated.
