Outcome
Final table, five-handed, with the blinds at 25,000-50,000 and a 5,000 ante, Brock Parker (2.3 million) raised to 125,000 from the button, Serock called in the small blind, Wilson reraised all in from the big blind, Parker folded, Serock called.
Analysis
Serock's decision not to play back at a possible steal attempt from Parker ultimately encouraged Wilson to make a squeeze-play from the big blind with his K-Q. Wilson chased away the original raiser, but Serock deliberated and came along. His previous smooth-call belied the strength of his hand. Serock hit his ace, while Wilson flopped second pair. The turn gave Wilson a gutshot-straight draw, as well, while it gave Serock a double-belly-buster straight draw, essentially substituting the jack for the king as outs for Wilson to go with his two outs to trip queens. Serock's pair held, and he eliminated Wilson in fifth, for $104,323.
