Preflop, final table, heads-up, with the blinds at 300,000 and 600,000 and a 75,000 ante, Chen went all-in from the button and Sexton called.

Chen started the heads-up portion of the match with 10.5m to Sexton’s 8.8m, but things quickly went south for Sexton as he was down to 1.7m after 90 minutes of play. Every time Sexton would rally, Chen would take away those gains. Things were not looking good for Sexton. In fact, Chen held the lead for 156 of the 158 hands in their heads up match. But Sexton held on, and two hands after he captured the chip lead, the match was over. One of the most well loved figures in the industry, the old-school Poker Hall of Famer has been a fantastic ambassador and promoter of the game. He now has a WPT title to go along with his WSOP bracelet, as well as the $425,980 CAD score. Chen, winner of the 2013 Millionaire Maker, had to settle for runner up and $286,110 CAD.
