Outcome
Preflop: With the blinds at 2,500 and 5,000, with a 500 ante, Galazan called on the button. David Singer called out of the small blind. Flop: Singer checked, Galazan bet 20,000, Singer re-raised to 55,000. Galazan went all-in for 410,500, Singer called.
Analysis
Calling on the button is not a good play here unless you always call on the button. It should have set off alarm bells for singer when the botton did not raise. After the king fell on the flop and Singer check raised, the proper play is to fold the JJ. Singer had to make a tough call and doubled up.
