Analysis
When third-place finisher Antoine Saout was all in against Cada on a coin flip, Cada confidently told his rail that the flip was "for the tournament." Although Cada began the heads-up match with a 2.3-1 chip leader over Moon, who had little heads-up experience, Moon grinded his way to a 2.6-1 chip advantage over the optimistic youngster after 79 hands. Here, Moon made an ill-advised overbet, semi-bluffing 48 million into the 9 million pot on the turn. Moon's bet had all of the characteristics of a naked bluff that did not want a call. Since trips would usually avoid killing the action instead of making an advanced over-bet value-shove, Cada sniffed out the bluff after some time in the tank and made the big call with second pair. Moon's line was simply not persuasive, even with the threat of elimination for Cada. Moon was unable to complete his open-ended straight draw, and Cada recaptured the chip lead on this pivotal hand, winning the tournament just eight hands later.
