Analysis

With these premium hands in a very aggressive short-handed game, it's standard for the money to get all in preflop. Once neither player backed down, it was off to the races with a great deal at stake. Parker missed the flop, hoping for a backdoor-flush or one of his overcards to manifest on the turn. Baldwin held off the overs and eliminated a fierce opponent in Brock Parker, who won two bracelets at the 2009 _WSOP_ and sat in fourth in Cardplayer.com 2009 Player of The Year race as of this writing. Baldwin was also enjoying a tremendous 2009, residing in the No. 1 slot of the POY leader board as of October. Parker earned $66,810 for his sixth-place finish.
