Outcome
With the blinds at 1,500-3,000 with a 500 ante, Le raised to 8,000 from early position, Mizrachi called in the big blind. On the flop, Mizrachi checked, Le bet 12,000, Mizrachi raised to 33,000, Le went all in, Mizrachi called.
Analysis
Le opened his suited connectors with a raise, while Mizrachi defended with some dominating hearts of his own out of the big blind. The flop connected heavily with both players; Mizrachi held the nuts by flopping the joint, while Le held a well disguised two pair. Mizrachi checked it over to the preflop raiser, whose two pair was vulnerable on the coordinated board with straight and flush potential. Once Le bet, Mizrachi sprung his check-raise, announcing a strong hand. Le was bound to call, with unpleasant news in store. Unable to make a full house by the river, Le was eliminated in 41st for $9,210.
