Pat Poels is a professional poker player from Phoenix, Arizona. At the 2005 World Series of Poker, Poels won a bracelet in the $1,500 Omaha eight-or better event. He outlasted a field of 699 players to take home the first-place prize of more than $270,000. The very next year, Poels won another bracelet, but this time, it was in the $1,000 seven-card stud eight-or-better event. This father of three likes to keep an upbeat attitude at the table.
