A native of South Korea, David Woo lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where he works as a professional poker player. Before poker, Woo graduated from Georgia State University and owned a small coffee shop.
Known as "The Magnificent," Woo snagged his first World Series of Poker bracelet in a 2008 $1,500 no-limit hold'em event. He outlasted a field of 2,720 players to win the nearly $632,000 first-place prize.
