There was little change over in the top 10 during the last level but Vinnie Vinh had a strong level and ended with 290,000. Tom Braband is your new chip leader with 353,000. Amit Makhija and Micah Raskin were the two new additions at the top. Players that are getting a little too low for comfort include Steve Gross, Thomas Marchese, McLean Karr, and Phil Collins. Raymond Dolan saw his stack plummet and settle at 25,000 after he doubled up Phil Collins late in the level.
Big Hands:
Jeff Madsen Eliminated
Jeff Madsen raised to 2,900 preflop and his opponent moved all in with an overbet. Madsen made the call with pocket eights and his opponent held pocket fours. A four in the door then ushered Madsen to the rail.
David Sands Scores a Nice Pot
McLean Karr raised under the gun preflop and David Sands reraised from the button. Karr reraised another 12,600 and Sands made the call. The flop fell 743 and Karr bet 22,700. Sands reraised all in and put Karr on a decision for his tournament life. Karr decided to muck and his stack fell to 90,000. Sands grew his holdings to 215,000.
Frank Kassela Eliminated by Darryll Fish
After Daryll Fish raised preflop Frank Kassela and one other player paid the price of admission to join him in the viewing of a K-6-5 flop (two clubs). Kassela checked, Fish bet 4,500, and the other player mucked. Kassela raised to 10,500 and Fish made the call.
