David Daneshgar Bio

David Daneshgar is a venture capitalist and investor from Westlake Village, California, but he has proven to the poker community that he has the ability to play with best players in the world. He's been cashing in major tournaments since 2004, winning several preliminary events along the way, and has collected numerous six-figure cashes.

He was the unlucky World Poker Tour televised-table bubble boy at the 2006 Legends of Poker, but soothed the pain by finishing fourth at the European Poker Tour Barcelona Open championship shortly thereafter.

aneshgar won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the last $1,500 no-limit hold'em event of the 2008 Series. He pocketed more than $625,000 for his win.
