Phi Nguyen has been cashing in major tournaments since 1994 and has been able to stay under the radar. Nguyen owns two World Series of Poker bracelets. In 2003, he won the $2,500 no-limit hold'em event, and in 2004, he won the $1,500 no-limit hold'em shootout event. He also finished runner up in the $2,000 pot-limit hold'em event in 2004.
At the 2008 WSOP main event, Nguyen finished 26th and snagged his biggest tournament cash ever at more than $257,000.
