Marco Johnson - Bio
Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson began playing poker at the age of 19 online, and by 21 he dropped out of Chico State to become a professional player. He lived the poker player's dream by traveling all over the world playing poker. The icing on the cake was when he moved to Las Vegas and took up residence with one of the best players in the game, Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby. He has since moved back to Walnut Creek, CA.
After dominating online tournaments with numerous deep finishes in Sunday's biggest events, Johnson branched out into the live circuit. At the 2007 World Series of Poker, Johnson cashed five times with one final-table finish. He scored his biggest cash yet at the 2008 World Series of Poker when he finished in a heart-breaking second place in Event 48 for more than $490,000; losing the final hand for the bracelet with AA versus Alexandre Gomes' A10.
