Joe Ebanks Doubles Through Bruno Fitoussi

The hi-jack seat raised to 800 and Bruno Fitoussi reraised to 3,000 from the button. Joe “ender555” Ebanks then took a few moments before moving all in from the small blind and the hi-jack got out of the way.

Fitoussi eventually made the call, showing AK, but he was racing against Ebanks and his pocket nines.

The board ran out J834Q and the pocket nines held to double to just over 31,000. Fitoussi is still more than comfortable, sitting on 64,000.

Matt Glantz Can’t Win…Today

2009 PokerStars EPT High-Roller Champion Matthew Glantz is walking away from the London Hilton Metropole a very happy man, but is doing so a bit early.

Glantz was eliminated from the main event after waking up with pocket queens. Unfortunately for him, his opponent’s A-K connected with the board to send Glantz to the rail.

Joe Ebanks Eliminates Amit Makhija, More Than Doubles Up

A player raises in early position and Joe "ender555" Ebanks calls from middle position. It is folded around to Amit "amak316" Makhija in the small blind who moves all in for 20,775.

After a few minutes, the initial raiser calls and Ebanks moves all in for an additional 11,000 or so. The early position player calls again and sees that he's in terrible shape with AJ. Makhija shows AK but even he is trailing to Ebanks and his KK.

The board comes QJ842 and Makhija is eliminated. Ebanks more than doubles up and now has around 85,000 in chips.

Matt "GrinderMJ" Juttelstad raises under the gun to 525 and a player in seat 3 reraises to 1,500. It is folded around to Joe "ender555" Ebanks on the button who goes into the tank for two minutes. Eventually, he decides to reraise to 2,525.

Juttelstad folds and seat 3 tanks. After three minutes, he decides to reraise to 5,500. Ebanks then tanks for another two minutes before mucking his hand, leaving himself with just 11,200.
