Heimiller bet 24,000 and Nguyen called again. The river was dealt and Heimiller bet 24,000. Nguyen made the call and Heimiller turned over (A79) for aces up. But it was no good as Nguyen showed (A108) for a queen-high straight. Nguyen scooped the pot and was at 240,000 while Heimiller was back down to 50,000.

Unfortunately for Heimiller, he got involved in his final hand a bit later against Perry Friedman. Heimiller hit two pair but Friedman hit a set and as quickly as Heimiller was given new life, it was taken away as he busted in 15th place.

Steve Sung Takes Another Pot Off Of Dan Heimiller

Steve Sung and Dan Heimiller both checked a flop of 4J8. The 5 hit the turn and Heimiller bet out 350,000. Sung contemplated briefly before announcing that he was all-in. Heimiller made another lay down to Sung who is picking up steam and looks poised to play heads up for the bracelet with one of the other remaining players. This was the second time Sung has made a huge all-in bet against Heimiller.

Dan Heimiller Eliminated In 6th Place ($145,009)

After limping in, Dan Heimiller was faced with a raise of 350,000 by Steve Sung and a call from Panayote Vilandos. Heimiller elected to go all-in over the top of Sung’s raise and try to double up to a stack closer to what he entered the final table with. Sung called the all-in bet and Vilandos folded. Heimiller exposed the AK and had Sung’s AQ dominated. The crowd gathered in anticipation as the flop of 3Q6 was magical for Sung, giving him a huge lead in the hand. Larry Sidebotham Doubles Up

James Matz raised to 210,000 pre-flop and Larry Sidebotham moved all-in for 465,000 more. Matz went into the tank before finally calling with 76, and Sidebotham saw about the best he could hope for as he turned over his 109. The board ran out 3AAJJ and Sidebotham doubled up to 1,530,000 to the delight of his loud cheering section.

Steve Sung takes Over The Chip Lead

Dan Heimiller raised to 210,000 pre-flop and Steve Sung called from the big blind. Both players saw a flop of 8A10 and Sung bet out 300,000 into Heimiller. The former chip leader made the call and the turn brought the J. Sung fired out again, this time turning up the heat with a 650,000 chip bet. Heimiller announced raise and put out 1,500,000 total, for a raise of 850,000. Sung went into the tank before shoving the remainder of his chips into the middle. It didn’t take too long for Heimiller to fold, and Sung took down the huge pot. He is now the chip leader with 6,350,000.

Phone Huynh moved all-in from the cut-off with the 33 after a pre-flop raise from Kevin McColgan. Steve Ma, in the big blind, went into the tank. He eventually made the call of 394,000, leaving only 40,000 behind. Action was folded over to McColgan, who contemplated for awhile before shipping the last of his chips into the pot as well. Ma instantly called, having his other opponent covered by about 35,000. Ma flipped over the AA and McColgan sheepishly tabled AK. Huynh was far behind, as he was the last to expose his hole cards of 33.

The flop was a beauty for Ma, as it came 5J7, keeping his aces well out in front and providing no back door flush draws for his opponents. Huynh needed runner-runner straight or a three to take the lead. The 2 fell on the turn and Ma was poised to knock out two opponents and take down a pot of 1,400,000. The miracle came for Huynh as the 3 slid off the top of the deck and onto the felt, erupting the table into gasps and Huynh into a loud celebration. Huynh is up to 1,400,000 and Ma is down to 73,000.

Daniel Heimiller Doubles Up Toni Ojala

Dan Heilmiller raised pre-flop and was moved in on by the short stack of Toni Ojala. Heimiller made the call of 496,000 more with the KJ and was behind the QQ of Ojala. The board ran out A952J and Heimiller doubled up his opponent to over 1,000,000 in chips. Heimiller is down to around 1,800,000.

Steve Sung Hovering Around Chip Average

With just over 13 big blinds, Jonathan Aguiar moved all-in with the A2 for 322,000 and was disgruntled when called by the 44 of a player in the big blind. The flop gave some light for Aguiar as it came J99, giving him some extra outs. The A hit the river and Aguiar was now well ahead, needing to dodge only a four to remain in the tournament. The river brought the 5 and Aguiar doubled up to 644,000. Not long after his double up, Aguiar held ace, three and was crippled when he doubled up an opponent. He was then eliminated in 21st place after failing to catch against the pocket sevens of an opponent.

Adam White Has Aces Cracked, Eliminated On The River

A hand after doubling through chip leader Dan Heimiller, Adam White raised pre-flop and was re-raised by the KQ of Nathan Mullen. With the AA White went all-in for just over the re-raise by Mullen. Mullen quickly called and the flop came 9K6, giving Mullen some hope to get lucky against the aces of White. The 5 hit the turn and White needed to dodge the remaining queens and kings in the deck. The Q fell on the river to the shock of the table, eliminating White and giving Mullen a stack of 1,420,000.

Steve Sung Continues To Accumulate Chips

A player in late position raised to 83,000 pre-flop and Steve Sung re-raised to 183,000. The initial raiser went into the tank before making the call of the additional 100,000. With only 250,000 chips behind, Sung’s opponent was first to act on a flop of 7J7. He quickly checked to Sung, who fired out a continuation bet of 125,000. Sung’s opponent went into the tank before finally releasing his hand. Sung is now up to 1,500,000 in chips.

Dan Heimiller Catches River Bluff

Dan Heimiller was in the small blind and saw a flop of J3J with the big blind. The action went check, check and both players saw a 3 on the turn. Heimiller once again checked and the big blind bet 22,000. Heimiller announced raise, and put 50,000 into the pot. The big blind contemplated momentarily before calling the small re-raise. The 7 hit the river and Heimiller led out for 70,000 this time. The big blind went into the tank before finally folding. Heimiller exposed the A6 for ace-high and said he was hoping king-high would look him up there.

Brent Roberts Loses Huge Pot

On a flop of 10510, Brent Roberts led out for 120,000 from the small blind. Danny Fuhs on the button made the call. The turn of the 5 paired the board and Roberts checked. Fuhs quickly checked behind and both players saw a K on the river. Roberts immediately announced all-in and Fuhs instantaneously called all-in for 338,000. Roberts mucked and Fuhs exposed the AA for just a pair of aces to win a 1,100,000 chip pot. Roberts is down to just 220,000.

Dan Heimiller Continues to Roll

From the cut-off, Dan Heimiller put out a raise. The player in the small blind moved all-in for 282,000 and Heimiller went into the tank. He eventually announced call and his opponent exposed the 44. Heimiller flipped over the K5 for two over cards and the players were off to a race. The flop came Q57 and Heimiller paired his five to take a huge lead. After raising on the button with the A10, Eric Mizrachi was re-raised all-in from Brent Roberts in the small blind. Roberts shoved 145,000 into the middle, which was just enough to cover the short stack of Mizrachi. Mizrachi went into the tank saying, “I really hope it’s a coin flip.” He eventually made the call and Roberts announced that it was a coin flip and exposed the KQ. Mizrachi flipped his cards over for the slight lead in the hand. The flop was a disaster for Mizrachi as it came 2K4, giving Roberts top pair. The board bricked out for the Mizrachi brother with the 7 and 2 to send him to the rail.

Steve Sung Wins Big Pot With Ace-High

On a flop of 939, Steve Sung checked to his opponent in the cut off. Sung’s opponent fired out 75,000 and Sung contemplated briefly before making the call. The 10 hit the turn and Sung checked. His opponent elected not to double barrel bluff the turn and checked behind. The 3 on the river paired the board and Sung quickly bet just 16,000 into the pot of 200,000. His opponent looked confused and smiled at the very tiny bet from Sung, eventually making the call. Sung tabled the AK for ace-high and his opponent quickly mucked. Sung is now up to 500,000.

Lee Watkinson Doubles Up

Severely short stacked, Lee Watkinson called the all-in re-raise by an opponent who had him well covered. Watkinson turned over the A10 and was ahead of the 35 of his opponent. The flop came J62, putting the Full Tilt Pro well ahead of the suited connectors of his opponent. The K hit the river, giving Watkinson a flush and having his opponent drawing dead for the river. Just after moving tables, Watkinson doubled up to 210,000, still about half the chip average.

Dan Heilmiller Takes Down A Pot

A player in middle position bet 52,000 pre-flop. Action was folded to Dan Heilmiller on the button, who re-raised 75,000 on top. Amanda Baker in the small blind went into the tank before finally folding. Action was then quickly folded to the initial raiser, who asked Heilmiller for a count on his chips. Heilmiller counted out 305,000 more and his opponent eventually folded. Heilillmer is now up to 474,000.

Steve Sung Wins Another Pot

On a board of K83, Steve Sung bet out 65,000 from the big blind. His bet was called by an opponent in middle position. The K hit the river and Sung fired out a large pot sized bet of 200,000 into his caller, leaving only 85,000 behind. His opponent went into the tank before finally folding. Sung said afterward that he wanted a call and that he bet too much on the end. Sung is now up to 570,000.

Lee Watkinson Eliminated

As the short stack of the tournament with just 16,000 in chips, Lee Watkinson moved all-in under the gun. Heimiller Tries To Steal, Gets Caught

Dan Heimiller raised to 17,000 from the under the gun plus one seat. Action folded around to the small blind who pushed all in for over 40,000. Heimiller took some time and glanced at his cards, then flashed the 5.

“If it was anything else you’d be in trouble,” Heimiller joked. He mucked his hand and his stack was around 90,000.

Sung Cashes In

Steve Sung pulled out a big win against the player in seat one adding to his already sizable stack. Sung had over 40,000 in with the board showing K2J37. Sung flipped his cards revealing pocket K’s to the dismay of the player in seat one, who mucked his hand in utter disgust. Steve Sung and Dan Heimiller both checked a flop of 4J8. The 5 hit the turn and Heimiller bet out 350,000. Sung contemplated briefly before announcing that he was all-in. Heimiller made another lay down to Sung who is picking up steam and looks poised to play heads up for the bracelet with one of the other remaining players. This was the second time Sung has made a huge all-in bet against Heimiller.

Phone Huynh moved all-in from the cut-off with the 33 after a pre-flop raise from Kevin McColgan. Steve Ma, in the big blind, went into the tank. He eventually made the call of 394,000, leaving only 40,000 behind. Action was folded over to McColgan, who contemplated for awhile before shipping the last of his chips into the pot as well. Ma instantly called, having his other opponent covered by about 35,000. Ma flipped over the AA and McColgan sheepishly tabled AK. Huynh was far behind, as he was the last to expose his hole cards of 33.

The flop was a beauty for Ma, as it came 5J7, keeping his aces well out in front and providing no back door flush draws for his opponents. Huynh needed runner-runner straight or a three to take the lead. The 2 fell on the turn and Ma was poised to knock out two opponents and take down a pot of 1,400,000. The miracle came for Huynh as the 3 slid off the top of the deck and onto the felt, erupting the table into gasps and Huynh into a loud celebration. Huynh is up to 1,400,000 and Ma is down to 73,000.

Daniel Heimiller Doubles Up Toni Ojala

Dan Heilmiller raised pre-flop and was moved in on by the short stack of Toni Ojala. Heimiller made the call of 496,000 more with the KJ and was behind the QQ of Ojala. The board ran out A952J and Heimiller doubled up his opponent to over 1,000,000 in chips. Heimiller is down to around 1,800,000.

The Q fell on the river to the shock of the table, eliminating White and giving Mullen a stack of 1,420,000.

Steve Sung Continues To Accumulate Chips

A player in late position raised to 83,000 pre-flop and Steve Sung re-raised to 183,000. The initial raiser went into the tank before making the call of the additional 100,000. His opponent elected not to double barrel bluff the turn and checked behind. The 3 on the river paired the board and Sung quickly bet just 16,000 into the pot of 200,000. His opponent looked confused and smiled at the very tiny bet from Sung, eventually making the call. Sung tabled the AK for ace-high and his opponent quickly mucked. Sung is now up to 500,000.

Lee Watkinson Doubles Up

Severely short stacked, Lee Watkinson called the all-in re-raise by an opponent who had him well covered. Watkinson turned over the A10 and was ahead of the 35 of his opponent. The flop came J62, putting the Full Tilt Pro well ahead of the suited connectors of his opponent. The K hit the river, giving Watkinson a flush and having his opponent drawing dead for the river. Just after moving tables, Watkinson doubled up to 210,000, still about half the chip average.

Dan Heilmiller Takes Down A Pot

Dan Heimiller raised to 17,000 from the under the gun plus one seat. Action folded around to the small blind who pushed all in for over 40,000. Heimiller took some time and glanced at his cards, then flashed the 5.

“If it was anything else you’d be in trouble,” Heimiller joked. He mucked his hand and his stack was around 90,000.

Sung Cashes In

Steve Sung pulled out a big win against the player in seat one adding to his already sizable stack. Sung had over 40,000 in with the board showing K2J37. Sung flipped his cards revealing pocket K’s to the dismay of the player in seat one, who mucked his hand in utter disgust. Heimiller Muscled Out

Steve Sung and Dan Heimiller both checked a flop of 4J8. The 5 hit the turn and Heimiller bet out 350,000. Sung contemplated briefly before announcing that he was all-in. Heimiller made another lay down to Sung who is picking up steam and looks poised to play heads up for the bracelet with one of the other remaining players. This was the second time Sung has made a huge all-in bet against Heimiller.

After limping in, Dan Heimiller was faced with a raise of 350,000 by Steve Sung and a call from Panayote Vilandos. Phone Huynh moved all-in from the cut-off with the 33 after a pre-flop raise from Kevin McColgan. Steve Ma, in the big blind, went into the tank. He eventually made the call of 394,000, leaving only 40,000 behind. Action was folded over to McColgan, who contemplated for awhile before shipping the last of his chips into the pot as well. Ma instantly called, having his other opponent covered by about 35,000. Ma flipped over the AA and McColgan sheepishly tabled AK. Huynh was far behind, as he was the last to expose his hole cards of 33.

The flop was a beauty for Ma, as it came 5J7, keeping his aces well out in front and providing no back door flush draws for his opponents. Huynh needed runner-runner straight or a three to take the lead. The 2 fell on the turn and Ma was poised to knock out two opponents and take down a pot of 1,400,000. The miracle came for Huynh as the 3 slid off the top of the deck and onto the felt, erupting the table into gasps and Huynh into a loud celebration. Huynh is up to 1,400,000 and Ma is down to 73,000.

Daniel Heimiller Doubles Up Toni Ojala

Dan Heilmiller raised pre-flop and was moved in on by the short stack of Toni Ojala. Heimiller made the call of 496,000 more with the KJ and was behind the QQ of Ojala. The board ran out A952J and Heimiller doubled up his opponent to over 1,000,000 in chips. Heimiller is down to around 1,800,000.

Mullen quickly called and the flop came 9K6, giving Mullen some hope to get lucky against the aces of White. The 5 hit the turn and White needed to dodge the remaining queens and kings in the deck. The Q fell on the river to the shock of the table, eliminating White and giving Mullen a stack of 1,420,000.

Steve Sung Continues To Accumulate Chips

A player in late position raised to 83,000 pre-flop and Steve Sung re-raised to 183,000. The initial raiser went into the tank before making the call of the additional 100,000. On a flop of 939, Steve Sung checked to his opponent in the cut off. Sung’s opponent fired out 75,000 and Sung contemplated briefly before making the call. The 10 hit the turn and Sung checked. His opponent elected not to double barrel bluff the turn and checked behind. The 3 on the river paired the board and Sung quickly bet just 16,000 into the pot of 200,000. His opponent looked confused and smiled at the very tiny bet from Sung, eventually making the call. Sung tabled the AK for ace-high and his opponent quickly mucked. Sung is now up to 500,000.

Lee Watkinson Doubles Up

Severely short stacked, Lee Watkinson called the all-in re-raise by an opponent who had him well covered. Watkinson turned over the A10 and was ahead of the 35 of his opponent. The flop came J62, putting the Full Tilt Pro well ahead of the suited connectors of his opponent. The K hit the river, giving Watkinson a flush and having his opponent drawing dead for the river. Just after moving tables, Watkinson doubled up to 210,000, still about half the chip average.

Dan Heilmiller Takes Down A Pot

A player in middle position bet 52,000 pre-flop. Action was folded to Dan Heilmiller on the button, who re-raised 75,000 on top.
