John Barch Bio

Born in Richardson, Texas, John "Tex" Barch earned a business degree from the University of Montana. He is married with two children and now lives in McKinney, TX.

Barch has been playing since 1996. However, in only his third World Series of Poker appearance, Barch managed to weave his way through a field of over 5,600 players to finish at the final table in the 2005 main event. Barch went on to finish third and earned himself $2,500,000.
