Ng checked and Rajkumar fired out 10,500 and Ng instantly check-raised all in. Rajkumar made the call and showed 5 4 , which was ahead of Ng’s A A . That is, until the A fell on the river and Rajkumar was left with 7000.
Tom Dwan Takes Chunk out of Nam Le
On a board of 4 9 5 J , Nam Le checked and called 2800 from Tom “Durrrr” Dwan and the Q fell on the river.
Le checked again and this time Dwan bet 7600. After a couple minutes of deliberation, Le decided to make the call. Dwan turned over the J 5 , good for two pair, and Le mucked his hand.
Hellmuth Explodes After Ace on the River
After a preflop raise, Phil Hellmuth and his opponent see a flop of K 7 6 . After his opponent checked, Hellmuth bet 3000, and his opponent called. The turn was the 9 and the river was the A .
Both streets were checked down and Hellmuth’s opponent turns up A 6. Hellmuth jumped out of his seat, momentarily halting his massage as he began one of his trademarked rants. “You hit your miracle on the river and you checked it. Well played,” said Hellmuth.
His opponent didn’t say a word.

Facing a 26,500 button raise from Andrew Robl, Chau Giang moved all in pre-flop for 45,000 more. Robl was committed and quickly called with the A 10 and Giang was happy to see he had his opponent dominated with the A K . The board ran out Q 6 4 3 K and Giang doubled up to a modest stack of 146,000.
Chris Moneymaker Avoids Disaster
Chris Moneymaker raised pre-floped and Humberto Brenes just called. The flop brought the A and both played the hand cautiously until Moneymaker made a 25,000 bet on the river that Brenes quickly called. Moneymaker turned over pocket queens and Brenes exposed pocket kings to take the small pot. Moneymaker exclaimed, “I got lucky with that flop,” and Brenes said, “Yes you did.”
Brian Townsend Wins a Huge Pot
On a board of A 8 7 10 3 with 330,000 already sitting in the pot, Brian Townsend bet 300,000, leaving just 45,000 in his stack. Mark Seif then went into the tank for a few minutes on the button. Seif was sitting on a stack of 415,000 and he decided to make the call after some deliberation. Townsend flipped over A K and Seif mucked. Seif took a huge hit down to 115,000 after the hand and Townsend’s stack grew to 975,000.

Chris Moore (UTG) and his opponent on the small blind got it all in preflop. Their cards:

Brian Rast Gets Lucky to Double Up
On a flop of 7 5 A , Brian Rast got it all in against the A 5 of Bruno Fitoussi. The turn brought the Q , giving the online cash game player extra outs. The Q fell on the river and Rast rivered a better two pair to double up to about 650,000.

David “Devil Fish” Ulliott is Eliminated
On the very next hand after Brian Rast’s huge double up, the short stack David Ulliott raised pre-flop to 25,000 with pocket kings. Rast min-raised to 50,000 and Ulliott went all-in instantly. Rast called and exposed 7 7 and Ulliott tabled pocket kings. The flop was a disaster for Ulliott, as it came A 6 7 . Ulliott failed to connect with a higher set and was sent home.
Table 60 is running hot
At the same table and a hand after Rasts double up and Ulliot’s elimination, Greg Raymer called the all-in of Ville Wahlbeck. Raymer showed A J and Wahlbeck exposed pocket kings. Kings were no good once again as Raymer flopped an ace and built his stack to around 300,000.

After about three minutes of dead silence, he tapped the table and Baker followed suit. Haxton turned over 7 6 for a missed straight draw and Baker showed K 9 to take the pot with third pair. Baker now has 247,000 in chips.
Andy Bloch Getting Picked on by Alec Torelli
After losing a big pot earlier to Torelli, Bloch checked a board showing J 10 4 7 k . Torelli launched a bet of 25,000 and Bloch went into a massive tank session. After almost 10 minutes, Bloch made the call. Torelli flipped over K J for top two pair. Bloch mucked and his stack dwindled to 17,000. Torelli was at 250,000.
A few hands later, Bloch doubled up with pocket kings against his opponent’s ace-queen.
Chris Moore Doubles Through Andy Black
Andy Black raised to 6,000 from the hijack. Chris Moore was next to act and move in for his last 30,000. Black talked to Moore for a bit before making the call and showing 5 5 . More showed A J and the board ran out J 6 10 Q 4 , giving Moore top pair and doubling him up to 60,000. Black took a slight hit, leaving his stack at 350,000.
“Action” Jeff Garza Sent Home By Phil Galfond

Phil Hellmuth Crippled By Alan “The Usher” Sass
Alan Sass raised to 5,500 and Phil Hellmuth reraised to 15,000 directly behind him. Sass made the call and the flop came out 6 5 4 . Sass led into Hellmuth for 19,400 and Hellmuth called.
The turn was the K and Sass checked. Hellmuth fired in a bet of 35,000 and Sass called. The river was the Q and Hellmuth moved all in for 183,000, which had Sass covered by about 37,000. Sass called showing K 9 and Hellmuth mucked his hand.
After the hand, Hellmuth pulled one of our reporters aside to admit that he held A-7 for a busted open-ended straight draw. “I’d get penalized for saying this at the table, but I just wanted to let it be known that the most horrible players in the world usually beat me,” said Hellmuth.
The hand drew further attention when it was revealed that the dealer had miscounted the all-in stacks, giving Sass some more of Hellmuth chips. Hellmuth, clearly upset, responded with, “What are you trying to give it all to him?”
Not quite, as Hellmuth still has about 37,000 in chips.
Russell Rosenblum Doubles Up
Russell Rosenblum found himself and his stack of about 100,000 all in preflop holding pocket kings against the pocket jacks of Philippe Rouas. The kings held and Rosenblum safely doubled up to about 210,000.

The river gave him his flush and suddenly things were all square.

On the final hand, Mackey got his last few thousand in with Q-8 only to see Moore show a dominating A-8. The board helped neither player and Moore moved on to the finals to face whoever it is that advances from the loser's bracket.
Mackey will still have a shot to be that player, but he's going to have to wait a few rounds to get his revenge.
