David Singer was down to just a few hundred chips and put them into the pot in the first hand of hand-to-hand play. He was called by three players and when it was over Men Nguyen held a low hand and another player had a set. Singer started with a pair of eights but didn't improve. Traniello survives with triple up Marco Traniello was in a hand against Greg Pappas and Tim D'Alesandro. Traniello bet out each street and on seventh street had just a few hundred remaining after a bet of 2,400. Pappas was next to act, and seemed to know he was beat. He called, and then D'Alessandro was in an identical situatioin, saying, "I have to call." Traniello flipped over two pair, aces and fives, and an eight low to scoop the huge pot.
