Big Hands and Story Lines:
Right out of the gate, Greg Mueller came out firing. With each player starting with 50 big blinds, stealing became a priority in the first round and Mueller seemed determine to get his fair share. He won 5 out of the first 10 hands without too much trouble, and then picked up even more chips the next few hands with big reraises. Mueller doesn't seem afraid to go out in sixth, but as a result, he's picked up a nice lead on the rest of the field. Sirous Jamshidi Fires Back Nobody wants to go out first, and everyone but Mueller is playing extra cautiously. So cautiously, in fact, that there wasn't a single confrontation until about 30 hands in, when Sirous Jamshidi finally had enough and moved all in. Mueller decided not to go with it and for now, Jamshidi keeps some distance between himself and the felt.
As the level came to an end, Leo Wolpert won four pots out of five to vault himself near the top of the leaderboard. At this point, We were still awaiting our first real clash of the final table.
After getting pretty short, Tim West was all in holding A NOTE: The players then took a 20-minute break.

Not Wasting Any Time: The blinds started at $15,000-$30,000 and on the first hand of the final table there was major action. Robin Keston and Sirous Jamshidi limped and John Juanda checked his big blind. The flop came Q Q 8 , and Juanda lead for $60,000. Keston made the call and the turn was the 10 . Juanda moved all in and Keston went into the tank. He called the clock on himself, and finally made the call with K K 6 6 . Juanda tabled Q 7 6 3 and the river came 5 . Juanda's hand held up and he doubled at the expense of Keston.Robin Keston Eliminated 9th ($60,711) With Keston losing most of his chip stack on the first hand, he wasted no time in getting all in on the second one. Minh Ly raised to $50,000 and Keston moved all in for $115,000. Sirous Jamshidi raised to $300,000 and Ly made the call, committing his last $240,000. Ly tabled A A 7 7 , Jamshidi A A J 2 and Keston K K 8 6 . The board came 10 9 2 3 6 , Ly and Jamshidi split the pot, eliminating Keston in 9th place for $60,711.Pace Yourself... After a quick start of two all ins in the first two hands play has already slowed down. Players have tightned up, and there has been much more limping then raising preflop. Humberto Brenes' sharks are still caged on his drink table, and the only hand he played was out of the small blind. Break The end of the level has been reached and the players are on a 5 min break. Player Tags: Robin Keston, Humberto Brenes, John Juanda, Minh Ly, Sirous Jamshidi Final Table SetJun 05, '07 Tournament officials released a revised version of the payout structure that rectifies a miscount of rebuys. First place will now receive $825,956. Chau Giang, Nenad Medic, and Hoyt Corkins will all receive $30,235. Mike Sexton, Dustin Woolf and Jeff Lisandro will all receive $35,732. Chip Reese and the two new bust outs will receive $41,229. But who were the 11th and 10th place finishers?Andrew Black finished 11th ($41,229) when his K-10-9-8 failed to improve against Humberto Brenes' A-Q-Q-2. After Black was eliminated, the remaining ten converged on one table to play until one more was eliminated. The seating went as follows: Seat 1- Humberto Brenes Seat 2- Robert Williamson III Seat 3- John Juanda Seat 4- Larry Jonsson Seat 5- Minh Ly Seat 6- Burt Boutin Seat 7- Robin Keston Seat 8- Sirous Jamshidi Seat 9-David "Devilfish" Ulliot Seat 10- Eric Cajelais On the first hand Ulliot raised and got no callers. He threw his hand face up, revealing the A A Q x, clearly frustrated to get no action. 'No action' seemed to be the mantra of the hour, as nobody wanted to burst on the televised final table bubble. Big raises preflop or on the flop are invariably followed by folds, and turns and rivers are only seen in pots that are essentially checked down. Ulliot got involved in a huge pot with Jamshidi. With a board of A Q 8 8 , Ulliot bet $60,000 only to be reraised $80,000 more by Jamshidi. Ulliot called, and the river brought the 10 . Jamshidi checked, and Ulliot reached into his stack for a handful of green $25,000 chips, finally deciding to bet ten of them. Jamshidi reraised all in for not much more, and Ulliot called. Jamshidi revealed the Q Q 6 5 for queens full. Ulliot threw down his hand, which contained an eight for at least trips and most likely a lower full house. Jamshidi ended the hand with around a million in chips. Play continued to be tight and tense, with everyone deeply wanting to avoid busting on the bubble. When it finally burst, Robert Williamson III was the one being washed away. With an all spade flop, Williamson moved his last chips in. He was called by Ulliot, who had flopped the nut flush. Williamson had flopped a jack high flush, and could catch an 8 for a straight flush. The turn and river bricked off, however, and Williamson was sent to the rail in 10th ($41,229.) The final table will resume play tomorrow, starting at 3 p.m. Make sure to check out Cardplayer.com for in depth final table coverage.
