Absolute Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot reached record numbers on Friday and has now shattered its all-time high. The old record was a mere $464,652.03. At the time of this publication, the jackpot is $673,800 and growing at the rate of about $2,000 an hour.
Anyone who loses with quad eights or better using both cards in his hand at a designated bad beat jackpot table will receive the biggest percentage of the prize. The winner of the hand will receive the next-biggest prize.
