Schuyler Twaddle is $396,095 richer after winding up with the more than 23 million in chips that were in play during the Borgata’s $2,000 no-limit deep-stack event, which carried a $500,000 guarantee. The event attracted 775 entrants and generated a prize pool of $1.55 million. When play started on Sunday, each player sat with 30,000 in chips.

In terms of number of entrants, this was the biggest event in Borgata’s history. The Borgata is holding its Summer Open June 9-24, with daily tournaments ranging in buy-ins from $200 to the $5,000 championship that will start on June 22.

Above, you said, "The Borgata is holding its first Summer Open June 9-24." 2008 is not the first Borgata Summer Open. There was one in 2007 and the first one was in 2006.
