On Sunday, Aug. 31, more than 100 SpadeClub members player became a part of SpadeClub history when they turned on their computers and opened SpadeClub up to play in the first Bellagio Championship Series monthly qualifier. SpadeClub Exclusive members are playing in a series of daily and weekly qualifiers to make it to the monthly qualifiers, wherein the players at the final table will be awarded seats at the Series finals in April, which gives them a shot at a $25,000 entry in the Bellagio 2009 Five-Star World Poker Classic WPT Championship.
Of those to make it to the final table and move on to the finals in April were SpadeClub Exclusive members “StevenBVT,” “baddog1959,” “deerhunter,” “CHILLSHOT,” “scroller,” “andy112211,” “badilisha,” “MacThetaX,” and Jeremy “TheBulldog” Keffer. Keffer, who took first place, will also receive a $2,500 seat in a satellite for the 2009 Five-Star World Poker Classic WPT Championship event at Bellagio.
