Those hungry for action didn’t have to look any further than last night’s two Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) events. Both events easily surpassed their respected guarantees as yet another two FTOPS winners were crowned.
Event No. 2 – Pot Limit Omaha
The first event of the day was a $240 +$16 pot limit Omaha contest hosted by Full Tilt pro Max Pescatori. The tournament attracted a field of 1,070 players. The guarantee was set at $200,000, but the event was able surpass that goal, having the prize pool settle at $214,000.
In total, 108 players were paid, among them were Card Player Online Player of the Year (OPOY) contender Tomgus456, and Stuart “Zpaceman” Taylor. Notable online player Matt “All In at 420” Stout was eliminated in 11th place, just before the final table.
In the end, whothedonk bested gregguiche heads up to take the title, the jersey, the avatar and most importantly, the first place prize of nearly $50,000.

Event No. 3 – No Limit Hold’em
The second event of the night was a $500 + $35 no limit hold’em affair hosted by Full Tilt pro David “The Dragon” Pham. In all, 729 entrants took part, easily besting the $300,000 guarantee by $64,500.
Only 81 players were paid, among them were Full Tilt Pros Mike Matusow and former FTOPS winner Erick Lindgren. Notable online players to finish in the money included Matt “mattg1983” Graham, ShiP ThA LooT, Frank “Gator93” Hernandez, “ActionJeff” Garza, Garrett “GBecks” Beckman, Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal, and Alex “AJKHoosier1” Kamberis. Steve “MrSmokey1” Billirakis made a deep run at the final table but fell just short finishing in 11th place.
When all was said and done, BOP B 3AKOHE 1 was the victor, taking out Davidp18 for the first place prize of over $75,000.

Today features two FTOPS VIII events. The first is a pot-limit hold’em event, which has a $200+$16 buy-in and a $200,000 guarantee. That event starts shortly, at 2 p.m. ET. The second event of the day is a $200+$16 buy-in $100,000-guaranteed seven-card stud eight or better tournament, which starts at 9 p.m. ET.
