In the middle of the World Poker Tour Championship event at Bellagio, a WPT Ceremony of Champions will take place inside the “O” Theatre on April 21 to honor all 96 champions of the first six
seasons on tour.
A private cocktail party for players and VIPS will kick off the festivities at 8:30 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at 10 p.m. WPT’s own Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten will be there to serve as masters of ceremonies, as they have crowned every single winner on tour.
Each player will receive a WPT-commissioned Tiffany & Co. custom titanium diamond bracelet to commemorate his achievement and place in WPT history.
“There are so many incredible stories to celebrate from the six World Poker Tour seasons, and we are thrilled to pay tribute to each of our WPT champions,” said WPT Founder, President, and CEO Steve Lipscomb in a press release. “The championship
bracelet has become synonymous with poker as a symbol of achievement and respect, and we are honored to continue the tradition that Benny Binion began over 30 years ago.”
