James Bord takes Down $50,000 High Rollers Event in Morocco

James BordYoung UK poker player James Bord is on quite a rush. Having won the World Series of Poker Europe main event in September he has just taken down the High Rollers event at the Marrakech Poker Cup.

The $50,000 buy in event held at Casino de Marrakech, in the Moroccan capital netted Bord a cool $247,000 payday.

Only 13 players took part in the event which paid out for four of them including Robert Mizrachi and David Benyamine.

The final table payouts were:

1: James Bord — $247,000
2: Robert Mizrachi — $185,250
3: Mesbah Guerfi — $123,500
