Ted Forrest discusses losing 45 pounds for a prop bet this summer on this week’s episode of The Scoop (sponsored by Full Tilt Poker) on Card Player TV.

Check out his interview with Diego Cordovez and Adam Schoenfeld on Card Player TV and you can hear about how the prop bet developed between Forrest and Mike Matusow and how he ultimately accomplished his goal to win the bet.

Forrest also talks about his strategy for prop bets, and how he doesn’t always have the best of it when he makes a bet outside of poker. At one point, he even tries to make a prop bet on the show about running the 40-yard dash in five seconds. Forrest says that running an impromptu marathon on the track at UNLV on a 115-degree day was the hardest prop-bet experience of his life. The end of the episode focuses on the high-stakes heads-up cash game he took part in against Andy Beal that was documented in the book The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King. Be sure to catch this very interesting episode.
