Juan Maceiras Barros (pictured right), also known as vietcong01, joined an exclusive club early Monday morning when he took down his second PokerStars Sunday Million tournament. The Spaniard took home $255,954 for the outright win, putting his career earnings at over $1.3 million.
When Barros won the Sunday Million in July of 2007, he picked up $157,154. He’s far from a “two-hit wonder,” however; he finished sixth in the popular weekly tournament in March 2009 and has numerous wins in both the Sunday Warmup and Super Tuesday. With this impressive victory, Barros joins Jesper “KipsterDK” Hougaaard with two wins apiece in the Sunday major.
