Online Poker -- The $1K Roundup, Week of April 26

The $1K events were a bit down this week, as two of the three failed to clear their guarantees. Over at Full Tilt, David "Bussa Buss" Baker put himself back into Online Player of the Year contention with a third-place finish in the $1K Monday. Baker now sits in 11th place, just 92 points away from breaking back into the top 10.

The eventual winner of the tournament was Darryll "Dfish" Fish, who pocketed $81,000 for his win over FTOPS winner losebigpots.

At PokerStars, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy outlasted the field for a win in the Super Tuesday for $68,250.

Michael "MIKEIVEY" Meredith has been tearing up the $150,000 guarantee on Absolute Poker. So far this year, Meredith has final-tabled the tournament four times and won an amazing three of them. He now sits in 27th place in the OPOY rankings.
