According to GamblingCompliance.com, the Spanish government is soon to put together national regulations for Internet gambling.
The move was triggered by a motion passed in late December, but a time frame for the introduction of new legislation has not been provided.
Members of parliament have urged the government to resolve the issue before Easter, but it is believed that there will be a delay due to political priorities such as the general elections in March.
