EPT Budapest Day 1B Ends as Fields Combine

Sell Out Field of 532 Take Part in First PokerStars.Com European Poker Tour Hungarian Open

A total of 532 players paid €4,000 + €300 to play the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Hungarian Open at the Sofitel Hotel in Budapest. Another sell out field for the organisers and a juicy prize pool of €2,128,000 for the players.

Joining the 263 players from day 1A were 270 on day 1B including Alex Kravchenko, Marty Smyth, William Thorsson, Noah Boeken, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Fabrice Soulier, Alan Smurfit, Johnny Lodden, Julian Thew, Casey Kastle, Michael Keiner, Thomas Fougeron, Anthony Lellouche, George McKeever, Max Pescatori, Per Hildebrand, Dario Minieri, and George Danzer.

At the end of play 94 players remained and today they join the 88 from day 1A to create a total day 2 field of 182 players. The top 10 in chips going into day 2 are:
