Bodog Poker and Card Player are teaming up to offer CardPlayer.com readers a cheap shot at two overlayed seats in the upcoming Bodog Poker Open II main event, seats worth $500 apiece. Those without Bodog accounts can sign up now to get a special deposit bonus from Card Player, as well.
The Card Player-exclusive tournament, named the CP BPOII Main Event Warm-Up, is a $5+50¢ buy-in freezeout tournament that will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:35 p.m. ET. Players can register right now with the password "mainevent" (all lowercase). The two BPO II main-event seats will be awarded to the top two finishers in addition to all of the money in the prize pool, making for a $1,000 overlay in the event. Money from the prize pool will be distributed to the top 30 percent of finishers.
The BPO II main event is set to take place this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET. The event is to be the largest tournament in Bodog history with a $300,000-guaranteed prize pool.
