UltimateBet Gives CP Readers a Chance to Freeroll to Aruba

UltimateBet’s signature live tournament, the Aruba Poker Classic, begins at the end of the month, and the site is offering Card Player readers a freeroll awarding five seats into a last-chance $530 buy-in qualifier that awards 50 seats into the event.

The free tournament is scheduled for Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET. Anyone who signs up for UltimateBet through Card Player and makes a deposit before the freeroll will automatically be entered. Additionally, anyone who has signed up for UltimateBet through links on CardPlayer.com or with a promo code from Card Player magazine and has registered a deposit in the past three months is also eligible and will receive an e-mail inviting them to play.

The top five players in the Card Player Aruba Freeroll will gain entry into the $530 buy-in 50-Seat Main Event Guarantee, which takes place Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Winners will receive an $8,500 package that includes the $5,500 entry into the tournament and $3,000 for travel and accommodations.

Last year, 548 players generated a prize pool of almost $2.7 million. It was Travis Rice who took home the $800,000 first-place prize. UltimateBet is expecting around 750 players this year.

For those who want to take part in this promotion, be sure to sign up for UltimateBet through Card Player. Players who register a deposit during the week will be added to the tournament's restricted list 24 hours before the event's start time.
