Jacques Zaicik Wins Barriere Poker Main Event

Zaicik Beats 89 Players to Become Barriere Poker Champ

This year’s Barriere Poker Tournament took place in Enghien les Bains, 14 kilometres from the Champs Elysées in Paris. The €1,100 main event ran from Aug. 22 to 24 with a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000.

Many notable French poker pros were among the 90 players in attendance, including Remy Biechel, Brice Cournut, Michel Cohen, François Montmirel, Jean-Pierre Petroli, Vikash Dhorasoo, Otto Richard, Jean-March Thomas, Jerome Zerbib, andJacques Zaicik Accepts €33,000 Top Prize Jacques Zaicik.

The top six players who received the bulk of the prize pool were:

Jacques Zaicik: €33,000
Amir Ahmed: €16,000
Laurent Polito: €11,000
Sidate Thiam: €8,000
Brice Cournut: €6,500
Franck Levi Valensi: €5,000
