Full Tilt Jennifer Harman Event Raises $30K For NSPCA

Dates Set for Second Live NSPCA Charity Poker Tournament

Final HandFull Tilt pro Jennifer Harman hosted the Animal Lovers charity poker tournament on FullTiltPoker.com this weekend, and more than $30,000 was raised for the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA).

Jzeeee outlasted the 3,009 players who entered and received the nearly $2,235 first-place prize. Half of the $10 buy-in was set aside for charity, and the total came to about $15,000. FullTiltPoker.com matched that, making the total donation $30,090.

Harman is already gearing up for another charity poker tournament for the NSPCA, but the next one iJennifer Harmans live.

The Second-Annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, April 18 in Las Vegas. The buy-in for the event is a recommended $330 donation. Optional $200 re-donations will be available during the first hour in exchange for additional tournament chips, as well as a chance for a last $200 add-on donation.

Last year, the event raised $130,000 for the NSPCA. The winner was Kirk Morrison, who defeated Card Player’s own Justin Marchand heads up.
