The
PartyPoker.com Million VI cruise returns from May 2 to 10, 2008 with stops in Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia breaking up the action as players from across the globe compete in the $8,200 buy-in event.
Qualification is under way on
PartyPoker.com from as little as $1 for a $12,000 package, which includes the buy-in as well as $2,700 for accommodation and $1,100 spending money.

The ground-breaking event, now in its sixth year, has been won previously by
Kathy Liebert,
Howard Lederer,
Erick Lindgren,
Michael Gracz, and
Mike Schneider. It was the first tournament to offer a $1 million first prize, the first to combine online qualification and direct buy-ins, and the first to be held on a cruise liner.
This year, the event takes place on the MSC Poesia, a top-of-the-line cruise liner boasting restaurants, bars, tennis courts, mini golf, pools, spas, discos, a cinema, shopping, and a 24/7 cardroom.
A spokesman for the sponsor said, "With the shift to a European route, we decided to make it no-limit rather than limit, but the look and feel of the tournament will be the same. Many of the old faces will be back. Mike Sexton will be a host, Matt Savage and Dave Lamb are tournament directors, and the highly respected
Card Player Cruises team that includes Linda Johnson, Mark Tenner, and Jan Fisher will be on board running the poker room."
Players can qualify for the weekly $600+$40 grand finals held each Saturday for as little as $1. There will be a package for every 20 players taking part and
PartyPoker.com guarantees that three packages will be won.
