Forty players returned to the Grosvenor Victoria Casino for day three of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour London. Amid unprecedented scenes of hari-kiri on day two, more than 100 players fell on their swords in just over six hours of play, and proceedings were suspended at 8:30 p.m. to allow filming of the approach to the bubble on day three.
Thirty-two players would get paid, with finishers up to 25th receiving £8,153. The winner of the tournament will pick up £611,520 and the runner-up £346,528.Ian Cox at final table

Swede Erik Friberg, who last year made the final table at the World Series of Poker main event, was the first man out in the first hand of the day, getting his remaining few thousand chips in with A-J but was out flopped by K-10 and hit the rail.

Other pre-bubble casualties were Richard Ashby and Shane Reihill, and the unfortunate player exiting in 33rd was Carlo Citrone, who found A-Q and pushed his dwindling stack into the middle, only to run into A-K.

Marc Goodwin hit the rail in 29th, Ben Grundy was eliminated in 21st, Roland De Wolfe went out in 19th, Chris Moneymaker in 17th, and Alan Smurfit in 16th.

Pascal Perrault was busted by fellow countryman Anthony Lellouche when his Q-J did not improve against K-Q.
