. Hamby checked again and Greenstein bet $130,000. Hamby thought for just a moment, and then moved all in. Greenstein mucked his cards and Hamby took down another large pot. Before Hamby and Greenstein engaged in their final battle, Danny Wong and David Haddad played a massive pot that would determine their positioning for the final six.

and Wong looked as if he had been shot. He was forced to leave the table to compose his emotions. Haddad doubled up to almost $900,000 in chips at that point and finished the day with $1,180,000. Wong ended up the short stack with $185,000. The final hand of the day was between Greenstein and Hamby, and once again Hamby ended the day by knocking a player out.

, Greenstein failed to improve and was sent home in seventh place for $54,665. After the hand, Greenstein graciously signed a copy of his book, Ace on the River, and gave it to Hamby. Hamby once again ended the day with the chip lead and he carries a freight train of momentum into the final table.
