Colorado’s six poker rooms generated $1.25 million in revenue last month, according to figures from state gaming regulators.

Revenue dipped from the $1.39 million raked in April 2016. It was basically a reversal of the result in March, when poker revenue grew by 12 percent to $1.44 million.

The casinos won $71.6 million from all the games last month, with $9 million coming from the table games. More than $62 million was won from slot gamblers.

Despite being a poker friendly state and its close proximity to Nevada, not a single WSOP bracelet had ever been awarded to a native of the state as of last summer, according to the WSOP.

Poker great Steve O’Dwyer hails from Colorado Springs and is long overdue for a bracelet. He has more than $18 million in tournament earnings.
