The couple that plays together stays together!

Just a week after poker pros Jason Mercier and his wife Natasha were married in south Florida, the two both made the final four tables of the $3,500 buy-in Seminole Hard Rock Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open main event. The event had 760 total entries, and in the end, the newly-married Merciers were eliminated back-to-back, finishing in 36th and 35th place for $11,430 each.

Mr. Mercier has over $17 million in career earnings and five World Series of Poker gold bracelets, while Mrs. Mercier has over $1 million in earnings herself.

The two were engaged this summer when Jason proposed to Natasha on the WSOP final table stage shortly after she finished third in a tournament for roughly $350,000.

Who knows? In the future we might see the husband and wife poker power couple together at a final table!

That's kind of cool and pretty amazing considering size of field. Good for them. Wish they would have got heads up.
