2016 Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Main Event Kicks Off Friday
$500,000 Guaranteed $1,600 Buy-In Tournament Runs March 11 - 15
The centerpiece of the 2016 Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Las Vegas tournament series is set to kick off on Friday, Mar. 11 at noon local time. The $500,000 guaranteed $1,600 buy-in CPPT Wynn no-limit hold’em main event will feature three starting days and run from Mar. 11 – 15. Survivors of days 1A through 1C will combine into one field on Monday, Mar. 14 to play down to a final table.
The final table will feature live update coverage right here on CardPlayer.com as the remaining players battle it out to determine who will be the next CPPT Wynn champion.
Players will start with 25,000 in chips with beginning limits of 50-100. Blind levels are an hour long, with registration and re-entries available until the start of level 7 on each of the three starting days.
There will be 15-minute breaks after every two levels, with the starting days to end after 10 levels or around midnight local time.
Last year Maxim Sorokin topped a field of 248 players in the $2,100 CPPT Wynn main event, securing the title, the trophies and the $101,619 first-place prize.
