The third and final starting day at the $1,000 buy-in Card Player Poker Tour Bicycle Casino main event drew 138 players. When added to the first two starting days, there were 369 total entrants, creating a prize pool of $357,930.
The tournament easily eclipsed the $300,000 guarantee and on Wednesday, the last man standing at the final table will take home a whopping $102,010 for their efforts. A total of 37 players will make the money, earning a minimum of $2,150.
Here’s a complete look at the final table payout information.
The chip leader after day 1C came to a close was Mark Nguyen, who was the beneficiary of a couple of lucky run outs. Nguyen’s pocket queens overcame pocket kings and towards the end of the night, his Q-5 made a straight against an opponent’s K-Q. Nguyen wound up bagging 283,900 at the end of play.
The 33 remaining players will join the 58 others who made it through day 1A and 1B to make up Monday’s day 2 field of 91.
Card Player will be there to provide live updates of the action as the players battle down to the money.
