Report: Greg Raymer Arrested In Prostitution Sting
2004 WSOP Champ Busted In North Carolina, Police Said
Greg Raymer was arrested earlier this week in North Carolina in what was originally described as a “male prostitution sting,” according to a local ABC affiliate. The news organization later removed the word “male” from the reporting and issued a clarification.
Raymer allegedly was seeking a female prostitute.
Police reportedly said that Raymer responded to an online advertisement posted by undercover police. He was arrested at a Wake Forest hotel along with five other men.
Raymer is the 2004 World Series of Poker main event champion.
Card Player reached Raymer on the phone and he declined to comment.
