Ty Reiman Wins 2013 Million Dollar Heater Main Event At Beau Rivage

Pro Earns $185,510 For Topping 255-Player Field

Ty ReimanA total of 255 players turned out for the 2013 Million Dollar Heater $2,500 buy-in main event at Biloxi, Mississippi’s Beau Rivage Resort Casino, building a prize pool of $618,375. The last player standing was tournament pro Ty Reiman, known as “puffinmypurp” online.

For the win the Morton, Illinois resident earned $185,510 and 612 Card Player Player of the Year points. As a result, Reiman now sits in 18th place in the overall standings, increasing his career live tournament earnings to more than $2.5 million. Reiman also has online tournament earnings in excess of $1.6 million.

A total of 27 players made the money in this event. Tournament pro Jacob Bazeley notched his 140th cash when he finished ninth for $12,368.
