“The Grinder," as he is affectionately known, began his career when he left college to pursue a life as a professional poker player. He exploded on the scene when he won two World Poker Tour titles and Card Player’s 2006 Player of the Year award. His career and popularity hit new heights in 2010, when he finished 5th at the WSOP Main Event after winning his first Players Championship that same summer, which some consider to be one of the most historic runs in WSOP annuls. He is also a DeepStacks Pro and the official ambassador for the Breeders’ Cup, International Stadiums Poker Tour and the Turlock Poker Room (CA).

Michael:

When you lend your name to an organization you have to check their bona fide. This site does not pay its players, personally I have been owed money since October 2013 and they keep telling me that they are looking into it. Why would you get involved with such a poker site? This is a bad business decision. Everybody should boycott Lock Poker. We had enough of swindlers and people giving poker a bad name.
