The latest edition of Card Player Magazine is now available online and features Joseph Cheong.
Cheong, a former member of the WSOP November Nine, has continued to dominate the competition in live poker tournaments all over the world. The 26-year-old could have done anything with his college degree, but decided to pursue a career as a professional poker player.
“When I graduated, I thought about working on Wall Street and getting into hedge funds, but the recession made it very difficult on new graduates to find work,” said Cheong. “Jobs were scarce, so it made sense to take my shot at poker.”
Other features in this issue include player interviews with Brent Hanks, Elio Fox, Sorel Mizzi and Jason Wheeler as well as strategy columns from the likes of Roy Cooke, Dusty Schmidt, Ed Miller, Gavin Griffin, Andrew Brokos, Matthew Hilger, Matt Lessinger and Matt Glantz. You can also read columns from personalities such as Steve Zolotow, Bart Hanson, Katie Dozier, Collin Moshman and Max Shapiro.
The magazine, as well as an archive of more than 500 issues, is available to be viewed in rich media flash versions or mobile-friendly HTML formats. All you need to view each issue is a digital subscription.
