Ononike Umerah Wins bestbet Jacksonville College Poker Challenge
Second Running Of Event Draws Field of 98
After a successful debut in October, bestbet Jacksonville brought back a holiday edition of the College Poker Challenge.
A total of 98 players bought into the events, which awarded prize drawings for each entry good for TVs, iPads, NFL and NCAA football tickets and more.
The eventual winner was Ononike Umerah, a senior at the University of North Florida studying psychology. Umerah made a deal to chop first place with eventual runner up Nathan Lauer before the two played it out for the trophy.
After his K-5 held up against Lauer’s Q-9, Umerah was given the title.
