iPoker Network Revenue Continues To Tumble

Playtech’s Poker Revenue Drops 27 Percent In Third Quarter

Playtech Plc, owner of the iPoker network, saw poker revenue continues its slide in the third quarter of 2012 when it dropped 27 percent to €4.1 million from €5.6 million a year earlier.

The revenue was also six percent lower than in the second quarter and overall in 2012 to date poke revenue is down 15 percent compared to the first nine months of 2011.

The company recently signed Betclic Everest to its poker network and confirmed William Hill is considering exercising its call option on Playtech’s 29 percent stake in their joint venture William Hill Online.
