Poker Tournaments Kick Off Big Week In UK
London And Nottingham Launch Poker Festivities in England
A month-long jamboree of poker gets underway in England this weekend with the Fox Poker Club September main event in London and the Sky Poker Tour grand final main event in Nottingham.
The Fox Poker Club hosts its monthly main event starting Saturday September 8 at 2 p.m. The £400 + £35 main event has a 25,000 starting stack and a 45 minute clock and lasts two days.
At Dusk Till Dawn the £330 buy in Sky Poker tour main event, also starting Saturday, will have a capacity of 250 players over two days in Nottingham.
Upcoming over the next seven days are the Unibet Open London, The English Poker Open, and Grosvenor UK Poker Tour while slightly further afield players have the European Masters of Poker Barcelona and World Poker Tour Malta festivals to look forward to as the autumn poker schedule ramps up in earnest.
Meanwhile the £700 + £70 buy in UK & Ireland Poker Tour main event is moving into day 2 in Newcastle in the north of England. It garnered support from 623 players creating a total prize pool of £436,100 from which the winner will take home a tidy £105,900.
