Antonius, Lieu Join International Stadiums Poker Tour

More Big Names Sign Up As Ambassadors to Ambitious Poker Tournament

Patrik Antonius and Liz Lieu are the latest big name poker stars to sign on as ambassadors for next year’s International Stadiums Poker Tour in London.

Antonius has this week been playing the controversial Partouche Poker Tour main event in France with a ISPT patch.

According to the ISPT website Antonius is, “Always looking for new and exciting experiences, Patrick Antonius was immediately attracted by the concept of ISPT.”

While Lieu said, “ISPT is pioneering the world of poker in a bold and creative way. This event will create a lot of positive attention for this game. I am very excited by the concept and I’m sure that ISPT will be remembered in poker history.

“My role will be to act as an ambassador of the tournament and share my opinion on this event. I not only want players to know about the historic nature of the event, I want them to see that it’s going to be a tremendous amount of fun."

Sam Trickett and Michael Mizrachi are already promoting the event as ambassadors.

The ISPT takes place at Wembley Stadium, London, England 2013. Up to 30,000 players are expected to generate a prize pool of around £20 million in a unique event which is part online, part live.

it probably doesn't help that Patrick Partouche is associated with the ISPT. And since they keep on have a fluctuating prize pool that original was 30mil now its 20mil. I'm curious as to what will become of the ISPT.
